I will never forget the trip to Grayland Beach colt starting clinic. I had worked on my horse, but I had not been out of the round pen/pasture. With your couching and work with my horse, we had a nice weekend riding on the beach and going into the ocean. You really gave me and my horse the confidence to get out there and ride.
Since then we have gone on some mountain camping trips and a couple of 25 mile endurance rides. She is really coming along.

Two weeks of continuous effort and the feral Arab mare was finally lured,
driven and unceremoniously extracted from a 30 acre field into a horse
trailer.
We were heading home to our ranch with a slightly wild, unnerved creature in our horse trailer; our thoughts became glaring realities. Okay, now what do we do? How to get her calmed so we can handle her, keep her in our pasture and domesticate her to be ridden?
Paul Rogers was the name we heard more than once. For results with horses, Paul Rogers kind of headed the list. Paul was recognized as a farrier and a trainer and adept when it came to a problem horses. He came out to evaluate the mare and was able to entice this feral creature into a horse trailer.
Paul worked with both the horse and the rider to make sure we had the tools to ride this half-Arab (the other half evidently being a deer). 90 days later we are enjoying our tame mare and looking forward to conditioning her for a career in endurance.
What a great job Paul has done with our horse and for us. We graciously applaud his skills and thank him for all his efforts.
